Ways to reward your customers

No matter what the industry or business relationship, it is important to reward your customers. To some this may seem like a frivolous and unnecessary gesture but it is important to show that your customer’s business matters. After all, without customers, where would you be?

There are many ways to reward your customers, from company hats to coupon laden calendars, to gift baskets or corporate box seats at a major sporting event. The best way to ensure you are giving an appropriate gift is to know your customer. This may not always be possible, of course. In that instance, there are some things you can do to make the reward appropriate and appreciated.

Relying on industry standards is a safe bet. If your industry involves beach wear, then giving fun beach totes might be a nice idea. Travel agents might appreciate a nice carry on bag. If the nature of the industry is somewhat vague or you are not familiar with the intricacies involved, desk gadgets, tools and toys are almost always a hit.

If you do have the opportunity to know your customer on a personal basis, the choice becomes much easier. Even if the person is simply an acquaintance, a visit to the company most often reveals clues as to what might be an appropriate gift or reward. People tend to display their outside interests in the way of photos or memorabilia. These things can offer valuable ideas you may not have considered.

Lastly, if the business seems to be a group effort, consider buying a group gift such as a fruit and cheese or sweet treat basket for all to share.

Clickpromogifts.co.uk has an amazing range of promotional gifts to suit every customer.

Thanks for the idea, I was thinking of ways of keeping my customers happy. In the current economic climate, I can not afford to lose any more customers which makes it so important to keep the ones I still have happy. I'm going to have a look for which promotional items would be the best to reward them.
