Executive gifts

Executive gifts can mean a wide variety of different things to different people. For this purpose, executive gifts will relate to those items which would be chosen for top level executives such as a company Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, President/Owner, Vice Presidents, etc.

As the name implies, executive gifts will tend to be classier than a standard promotional giveaway. This can mean a top of the line engraved Montblanc or Waterford Crystal pen set, embossed leather briefcase, or some high tech gadget that is relatable to the industry. If budgetary concerns are an issue, as they often are, it is possible to find nice business gifts at a reasonable price.

When giving executive gifts, it is important to remember the people who are on the periphery of the executive. This usually means administrative assistants or other integral members of the executive team. Many people may not stop to realize that many executive administrative assistants are key players in the organisation and are often responsible for making decisions in lieu of the executive officer. This is most certainly a person you want to please. When buying an executive gift, consider buying something for the other important person(s). It doesn’t have to be as elaborate as the executive gift. In fact, it shouldn’t be. However, if you are going to purchase a high end, personalized gourmet wine and cheese basket as the executive gift, consider buying a smaller one as a secondary gift. The extra effort will not go unnoticed.
